By letting your audience, customers and potential clients in on your story, you'll be engaging loyal fans, proving your authority in your industry and seeing the roll on effect of increased sales and conversions. Video is the best storytelling device we have - and you don't have to use a production company and a $10,000 camera every time you want to appear on screen.
You've got a world of video right at your fingertips!
(We'll teach you how to start using it.)
As video producers and video content strategists, the biggest thing we’ve found when working with business owners and entrepreneurs is that they are capable of anything. They are creative and resourceful, and they can sure as hell film a bunch of video content on their phones!
This course is for those business owners and entrepreneurs, covering everything you need to know to get the most out of filming on your smartphone, from two film and TV industry professionals.
Founder of Pickford Media, director and editor, Zoe Winther, together with Abramo Peghini, sound recordist, sound designer and producer, have covered everything from equipment, to composition, to confidence on camera, with healthy doses of industry insider tips and tricks.
Zoe Winther founded Pickford Media in 2015 after being inspired by her work with the League of Extraordinary Women, the Society for Women in Information TeCHnology (SWITCH), and Business Chicks. Her goal is simple: to help other female business owners grow their businesses with video.
Zoe is an RMIT University graduate with a Bachelor of Communications, and has expanded her study into Information Technology. Starting at the bottom as a slate-clapper and lunch-bringer on community television, Zoe has credits as director of photography, script supervisor, production designer and unit manager, and she has now progressed to director and producer of a TV series. She has also produced and hosted radio programs on SYN and RRR, and brings this wealth of knowledge from the film industry to even the smallest piece of content for businesses.
